    MORGAN ST. JAMES and PHYLLICE BRADNER

Sisters MORGAN and PHYLLICE have become best friends while creating mystery escapades featuring characters reminiscent of their fun loving wacky family.

MORGAN ST. JAMES and her radiologist/photographer husband Hubert split time between homes in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.  She has three grown children and two grandchildren and one on the way.

Morgan's short story, Shopping for Dancing Shoes, is the first story in Chicken Soup for the Shopper's Soul.;

As a partner in an interior design studio, she worked with celebrities, model homes, showrooms and product designs. Her design work has appeared in numerous magazines. She served as Director of Design for two residential developers.

PHYLLICE BRADNER grew up in Los Angeles and lived in Alaska for 39 years.  She currently lives in a hundred-year-old house in McMinnville, Oregon where she owns and operates Katz and Dawgs Studio and Boutique.  She has one grown son who follows in Phyllice's footsteps as an artist and photographer.

Phyllice, an award-winning graphic designer, published writer, former antique shop owner, and political print consultant for many statewide campaigns including four gubernatorial races and five candidates for U.S. Senate,  produced numerous reports and informational pieces for many major corporations and government agencies. 

Over the years she has won four Alaska Press Club awards and two National awards for newsletter publications.

She is an accomplished fine artist whose whimsical cat and dog etchings, paintings and hand painted scarves reflect her sense of humor and unique vision of things around her.  Phyllice's work appears in galleries in Juneau Alaska and McMinnville Oregon.
